A lover of water who saved his baby brother from drowning, A man who fought to defend himself, his brother and others, A man who had your back, A swimmer, A surfer, A lifeguard, A boat Captain- CaptZ, A commercial fisherman, A championship Wrestler-state level, A football player, A man who trained to be a Master scuba diver, A yachtsman who sailed his sailboat around the Caribbean with his best friend, A construction worker, A world traveler, A trained martial artist, A free spirit, A lover of ocean, sky and the outdoors, A Boy Scout, A tall tale teller, A man called Zano, Zaneo, Zany, A very strong and athletic guy, A great talker, A joker and funny guy, An owner of hands registered as a lethal weapon in Florida, An Irish temper, A risk taker, A wheeler dealer, A sensitive man with a big heart, A man with pride who hated to ask or need help, A man with lifelong friends, A man who loved his friends and family, A generous spirit, A brother, son and Uncle who remembered special days, A man loved and supported steadily by his family, A free spirit, An independent thinker who lived happily outside the normal confines of society for decades, A man who suffered, A man who struggled and fought many demons, A great life for many years, A struggling life in his last years, A not so great ending, A man who will be missed and loved by his many friends and family.
Zane is survived by his mother, Joanna Martin; his stepmom, Caroline Fennelly; sister Trinda Fennelly Metzger (Doug); brothers, John & Richard Fennelly (Kelly), sisters, Gail and Lisa Copin (Rob, Andy),and 10 nieces and nephews.
A CELEBRATION OF LIFE MEMORIAL FOR ZANE:
Saturday September 30, 2017 1-4pm at Community Presbyterian Church, 150 Sherry Drive, Atlantic Beach, FL 32233- followed by refreshments and then “Paddle Out”.
