John “Jack” Vincent Dinan, Jr. from Ponte Vedra Beach, Florida passed away peacefully on October 22, 2016 at the age of 85 surrounded by his family.
Jack was born in the Bronx, NY on October 9, 1931 to Anna Maria and John Vincent Dinan Sr. The family, along with Jack’s older brother Robert, soon moved to Stony Point, NY, where he graduated from Stony Point High School in 1949. He then graduated from Holy Cross College in 1953, where he went on to work for General Motors for 38 years. Jack married his beloved wife Carol Fedor of Perth Amboy, NJ in 1957 and were married for 59 years. Jack proudly served his country as a Marine in the Korean War.
Jack is predeceased by his parents, Anna Maria and John Vincent Dinan Sr. and his brother, Robert Louis Dinan.
Jack is survived by his wife, Carol, children Mark, Laura (Dave) and John Vincent III (Stephanie), granddaughter Lindsie, as well as many cherished nieces and nephews.
A memorial mass will be held on Friday, November 4th, 2016 at 2pm in St. Paul’s Catholic Church, Jacksonville Beach, Florida, with Reverend William Kelly as Celebrant and Reverend Paul McLaughlin as Con-Celebrant.
