Glenna Mackey Endal, 65 passed away on October 23, 2016 at home surrounded by her loving family. Glenna was born in Vanceburg, Ky to Virgie Mackey Stansell and Glenn Mackey who preceded her in death. She spent her childhood at the beaches and graduated from Fletcher High School in 1968. Also in 1968 Glenna was the first woman to finish the Five Mile Jacksonville Beach Run. An accomplishment that she repeated in 2003.
She was a faithful member of Cape St. Claire Methodist Church until her health started to decline. She was secretary at the church and in addition started the group Golden Gang for the elderly congregation. They enjoyed fellowship, bus trips and the act of being young again.  Glenna was so very fond of the time she spent with her grandchildren. She was married to Andrew Endal for 42 years who she met at the University of Florida.
She is survived by two sons, Erik (Beth) Endal, Roy Endal and one daughter Lena (Jason) Mullen: grandchildren Thomas and Brayden Endal, Ella and Emmy Endal and Delilah Mullen, loving sister and best friend, Ellen (Claude) Krejci, loving brother, Tom (Jeanie) Mackey: a host of nieces, nephew, cousins and other relatives and many, many circles of friends. Many of her friendships are classmates since grammar school and high school, her adult friendships of 40 years plus.  She was a wonderful friend that brought love, caring and happiness with many smiles. Glenna was loved by many.
