CAROL L. COFFIN

Carol L. Coffin of Neptune Beach, Florida died peacefully with loved ones on Thursday, March 29th, 2018 at Anthem Lakes after a long battle with Parkinson's.
Carol was born in Williamsburg, Iowa on May 31, 1939 the daughter of Allen and Anna R. (Furler) Stanerson. She graduated from Conroy High School in 1957. Carol resided in Washington DC, Delaware, and Florida. She was married in Silver Spring, MD on August 15, 1961 to David Coffin until his passing on October 4, 2004. Before retirement, Carol owned and managed a very successful Chicken Farm in Georgetown Delaware for over 18 years. She was named Outstanding Broiler Grower of the Year with Allen's Family Foods, Inc in by the Delmarva Poultry Industry in 1980 and 1992.
Carol was a very kind, loving, and loyal wife, sister, mother, aunt, grandmother and friend. She was loved deeply by all that were lucky enough to know her. Carol was a quiet person but her deep love and consideration for her family spoke loudly.
Survivors include her twin sister, Donna Moffatt and Husband Dennis of Winfield, IL; a sister in law, Myrle Stanerson; a son, James Coffin and wife Grazyna, of Laurel, MD; a daughter, Ann Hindman and husband Elliot, of Neptune Beach, FL; grandchildren Jennifer Hindman Adams, Michelle Hindman Walch, Lauren Hindman; great grandchildren Sophia, Genevieve and Kyle Walch.
Services will be held privately by her family. Arrangements are by Hardage-Giddens Funeral Home, 1701 Beach Blvd., Jacksonville Beach, FL.
