Nancy Lloyd Hickey, long-time resident of Ponte Vedra Beach, FL, died August 12, 2017. Born in New York City, NY July 10, 1925, daughter of Laurence Lloyd and Helen Simon Lloyd, she graduated from Mary Mount College, Tarrytown. She was an avid photographer, writer, traveler and animal lover.
She was predeceased by her loving husband of 46 years, Roger A. Hickey, Jr., her brother-in-law, Felix Suarez, and her sister-in-law, Ann Solas. She is survived by her sons, Mark and his wife, AnnMarie, of PeachTree City, GA and their daughters, Christina McCrudden (Ryan) and Laura; and Laurence and his wife, the Honorable Nancy Smith, of Pittsford, NY and their son, Conor and daughter, Margaret. Also surviving, sister Anthonie Suarez of Manhasset, NY, brother-in-law and sister-in-law, John and Mary Hickey of Castle Rock, CO; brother-in-law, Dr. T. V. Solas of Bay Head, NJ; cousins-in-law, Fred and Betty Ryan of Mt. Lake, FL; and numerous nieces and nephews.
Interment was private. The family request donations be made to the animal shelter of your choice.
