Frances Jeannine Brennan, 86, passed away in early July, 2017. She was born on April 15, 1931 in Madawaska, Maine. During her life she lived in several places including Maine, Philadelphia, Pennsylvania, and Rochester, New York. Jeannine moved to the beaches area in the late 1970s.
Jeannine volunteered in the Waves during World War II. After moving to Florida and earning a Bachelor’s Degree from the University of North Florida, she worked with the elderly.
Jeannine is survived by her sons, Michael (Lisa), Peter (Ginger), and Andrew (Robin); daughter-in-law, Debbie Brennan; grandchildren: Mathew (Sara), Courtney, and Ashli. She was predeceased by another son, Robert (Bernadette). Jeannine was also predeceased by her best friend and partner, Otto Lawrenz.
A visitation is scheduled for family and friends from 5:00 until 7:00pm on Thursday, July 13, 2017 at Quinn-Shalz Family Funeral Home, 3600 Third Street South, Jacksonville Beach.
