Yvonne M. Burke, age 82, of Jacksonville Beach, Florida passed away June 22, 2017 at her residence with family by her side. She was born in Paris France on February 11, 1935. Yvonne moved to Jacksonville in 1964 from Key West, Florida. She served as the treasurer for the Fleet Reserve Association Unit 290 for over 30 years. Yvonne is predeceased by her loving husband of 47 years, Kenneth H. Burke.
Yvonne is survived by her son, Peter Kenneth (Kim) Burke of Jacksonville, FL.
A Celebration of Yvonne’s life was held on Wednesday, June 28, 2017 at 1:00 p.m. at Ferreira Funeral Services at Beaches Memorial Park with Father Rafael Lavilla as Celebrant. Interment will follow at Beaches Memorial Park Cemetery. The family received friends on Wednesday prior to the service from 11:00 – 1:00 p.m. at the funeral home.
