SILVER, SHIRLEY B.

Shirley B. Silver, of Atlantic Beach, passed away April 19, 2017. She was born in Gainesville, FL on April 15, 1931. Shirley graduated from the University of Florida with a degree in English and Library Science. She was married to Leonard M. Silver for 63 years and together they owned and operated Silver’s Drugs, a Neptune Beach landmark, for 31 years. Shirley was a member of the Friends of the Beaches Branch Library and a lifetime member of Hadassah. She had a passion for reading and spending time with her family.
In addition to her husband, she is survived by her daughters, Sharon Silver, Elaine Silver, Deborah Toole (Andy) and Gayle Crawford (Bob), granddaughter, Nichole Silver (Jason Simpson) and sister, Marie Glick. 
Services to celebrate her life were held at 1:30 pm, Sunday, April 23rd at Beth El-The Beaches Synagogue, 288 Roscoe Blvd. N., Ponte Vedra Beach, FL 32082 with Rabbi Matuson presiding.
