Steven Charles Day, age 66, of Jacksonville, Florida, passed away December 14, 2016 at Community Hospice Center. He was born in St Louis, Missouri on February 18, 1950 to the late Francis Day and Ruth Killes Day. Steven was a resident of Jacksonville for 39 years. Steven was a retiree of the US Navy in which he served for 22 years. Steven enjoyed spending time with his family and had a passion for music and working on cars and computers. His thirst for knowledge was insatiable. Steven is predeceased by his wife, Brenda Day, and his parents.
Steven is survived by his children, Angela (Chris) Hancock of Jacksonville, FL, and Gregory Day of Melbourne, FL; brother, Donald Day; grandchildren, Brittany Hancock and Steven Hancock.
A Celebration of Steven’s life was held on Tuesday, December 20, 2016 at 11:00 a.m. at Beaches Memorial Park Chapel, Atlantic Beach with full military honors.
