Joan Sarrett Montgomery passed on December 1, 2016 at the age of 88. Born in Huntington West Virginia on November 19, 1928, she married Frank R. Montgomery and raised her five children James, Susan, Lisa, Stephen and Leslie. Joan was an amazing and incredibly loving Mother, confidant, life coach and an ultimate positive caring spirit who never failed to make those in her life feel loved. She lived many years in the Chicago area and found a lovely beach house in Atlantic Beach, FL where she lived the last years of her life. Those who knew and loved her will mourn her but will never be without her love.
Joan is survived by her five children and her sister Barbara Guetter. Arrangements are under the direction of Hardage-Giddens Funeral Home, 1701 Beach Blvd., Jacksonville Beach, FL.
