Thomas Dawson (T-Bone) Grizzard, passed away on February 2nd 2019 at his brother Jim’s house after a long illness. Tommy was born in Savannah, GA January 5th 1951, to Harris and Tina Grizzard. He is predeceased by both parents, sister-in-law, Lorene Grizzard, and brother Buddy.
He is survived by his brother, Jim Grizzard, sister, Ava Wainwright, and many nieces and nephews.
Tommy was a master carpenter by trade, and loved surfing, fishing, and his family.
He spent his entire life as part of the Jacksonville Beaches community. He seemed to be happiest when sitting on the Pier or fishing at the Little Jetties.
Tommy requested that his ashes be spread at the Jacksonville Beach Pier. This will be held on Sunday, March 10th at 3:00pm. A celebratory drink will then be shared at Lemon Bar in Neptune Beach.
